WEAVE designs and delivers educational, participatory, and arts-based activities that promote human rights, intercultural understanding, inclusion, and social-emotional learning. Working across schools, universities, community spaces, cultural institutions, and healthcare settings, our programs combine non-formal education, storytelling, cinema, creative expression, dialogue, and experiential learning.

Our activities are developed in collaboration with educational and research partners and are designed to create safe, engaging spaces where children, young people, educators, and communities can explore identity, diversity, migration, belonging, empathy, and social justice. We connect research with practice and transform complex social issues into accessible, meaningful learning experiences.

REBOOT_eduproject: Experiential learning in "Cinema and Interculturality"

A participatory, arts-based experiential session implemented within the European research initiative REBOOT. Engaging students as active co-creators, the activity mobilized cinema not merely as a viewing medium, but as an interactive launchpad for critical reflection and social empathy. Through collaborative media decoding, facilitated peer dialogue, and identity mapping exercises, participants examined contemporary cultural representations, deconstructed systemic biases, and practiced intercultural exchange in a safe, dynamic learning space.

Narrative-based healing & experiential worksheets in children's hospitals

An arts-in-education intervention carried out within a children's hospital, combining classic Hans Christian Andersen narratives with interactive discussion worksheets. The initiative leverages non-formal learning and creative engagement to support pediatric patients' psychosocial well-being, using narrative metaphors to encourage emotional processing, reduce hospital-induced anxiety, and foster active dialogue around belonging and personal strength.

Pedagogical action at Kinderuni Wien 2025

An educational intervention delivered in the framework of the European research project REBOOT at Vienna Children's University. Designed to bridge academic research with youth engagement, the session used non-formal learning methodologies, gamified participatory exercises, and creative expression. By centering play and co-creation, the action transformed complex research themes into accessible learning experiences, empowering young participants to explore critical thinking, intercultural dialogue, and collective problem-solving.

Workshop: "Cinema and Interculturality: Languages, Identities, Stories"

Participation in the strategic design and delivery of participatory educational interventions carried out within the REBOOT Horizon Europe project at the University of Thessaly. Grounded in practice-based research and non-formal learning, the workshop deployed cinema and audiovisual storytelling as critical pedagogic instruments. Through film analysis, group reflection, and creative media exercises, participants examined cultural representation, navigated themes of migration and forced displacement, and fostered inclusive intercultural dialogue.
